Pou Statement on Grant Allocation to Hinchliffe Stadium

Trenton – Senator Nellie Pou issued the following statement after the Governor allocated one million dollars for the Hinchliffe Stadium from the Grants for Urban Parks appropriation:

“This money will be a lifeline for one of Paterson’s most prominent and historic landmarks. Hinchliffe Stadium is a National Historic Landmark and should be a place of pride for any Patersonian. With this funding, we will be able to help towards lifting it out of its current dilapidation and restore it in a way that will reflect its storied and momentous past. I want to thank the Governor for recognizing the significance of this project and for allocating these urgently needed funds.”
