Pre-Ides of March Rally on Sunday to demand answers from flip-flopping Congressman Jeff Van Drew

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP (ATLANTIC COUNTY) – Who Is Van Drew? a newly-formed, bi-partisan group of South Jersey voters seeking to hold U.S. Representative Jefferson Van Drew accountable for backtracking on positions he once supported – including reversing his positions on COVID-19 relief,  voting rights, civil rights, and protecting the nation’s capital — are hosting a “pre-Ides of March” rally outside of Van Drew’s Mays Landing Congressional Office at 5914 Main Street, Hamilton Township, NJ 08330 on Sunday, March 14 at 2:00 p.m.

“Congressman Van Drew should certainly beware. The voters of New Jersey’s Second Congressional District are watching and we want to know: why are you now suddenly against Voting Access, LGBTQ Equality and Campaign Finance Reform? Are you representing your district? Or are you now beholden to your deep-pocketed Republican donors?” said Helen Duda, a founding member of the group.

The rally will feature a host of speakers including: Duda; Atlantic County Commissioner, Caren Fitzpatrick; Cape May County Indivisible Racial Justice Committee Co-Chair Crystal Hutchinson; League of Women Voters representative Melissa Tomlinson; Ocean City High School junior Hayden Wathen; and Atlantic County Clerk candidate, Mico Lucide.

Masks and social distancing are required. Canned and non-perishable food items will be collected and donated to a local charity.
