On Saturday October 2ⁿᵈ – at 6:30 PM – the Kelley-Oliveira-Stanton Police Memorial VFW Post will
host a Gubernatorial Candidate Townhall at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center located at 815 Route 35 Toms River N.J.

Invited candidates are Phil Murphy and Jack Ciatterelli. As of this date Ciatterelli’s campaign has
confirmed his attendance and participation, Murphy’s campaign has not responded to the invitation.

Topics will include veteran, military, and family concerns related to the state budget, veterans’
property tax relief, troop state income tax exemptions, supporting and funding programs to reduce
veteran and troop suicide, civil service preference, employment, the State Department of Military
and Veterans Affairs, the COVID related veteran nursing home deaths, and other veteran topics.

The event is open to the general public and attendees can pre-register at vfw12173.org
