PROBLEM SOLVERS CAUCUS URGES BIPARTISAN COOPERATION TO PASS CRITICAL COVID-19 RELIEF PACKAGE

WASHINGTON- Today, the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus released the following statement:

“As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, Americans are counting on Congress to act. The impact of the coronavirus on our workers, families, health care providers, first responders, and communities continues to rise. Many counties, towns, cities, and states need relief after spending billions to address the pandemic — from testing to PPE — while facing a drastic cut in tax revenue as a result of the virus. It’s critical that we help all communities and local governments hit by COVID-19, regardless of size. Additional funding is needed to keep police officers, firefighters, transportation employees, teachers, EMTs, and other frontline workers on the job. As members of the bipartisan Problems Solvers Caucus, we stand ready to ensure that a bipartisan phase four stimulus package passes and delivers immediate aid to American families, local communities, health care providers, and businesses. Together, we can, and must, get this done.”
