Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey Endorses Rep. Malinowski
Citing his continued advocacy for first responders, the Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey, which represents more than 3,500 firefighters and EMS professionals from across the state, announced their endorsement of Representative Tom Malinowski for re-election.
Malinowski has fought to ensure first responders have access to the quality health coverage they deserve. In September he introduced the Expanding Health Care Options for Early Retirees Act, which would allow retired firefighters, EMTs, police officers and other first responders to buy into Medicare beginning at age 50 and help eliminate gaps in coverage that are all too common.
“Congressman Malinowski’s tireless work to ensure first responders have access to the reliable health coverage they have earned shows his commitment to the brave men and women who serve our communities,” said Dominick Marino, President of the Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey. “We’re proud to endorse him for re-election.”
“I’m honored to have PFANJ’s endorsement,” said Malinowski. “Our first responders put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe. I will continue to work with PFANJ to make sure we support our firefighters, EMTs and police officers as relentlessly as they support us.”
