Quattrocchi For Assembly: Dems Not Sure Where They are or Who They Are … in District 22

Not sure if the Democrat candidates for Assembly representing District 22 are confused and not sure where they are or who they are or perhaps they just are not that interested in their constituents. Their campaign has taken on a bit of an ” A La Carte” diner menu feel. The kind of menu where one chooses an entree from the list labeled Column A and any 2 sides from the Column B list. The Quattrocchi for Assembly, campaign received a photo of a sign taken on the corner of Lincoln Avenue and North Avenue in Dunellen, clearly showing the Dems in Column A.. I like to think that they are just too tired to notice rather than not interested enough to care about Dunellen in a neighboring county. Perhaps a campaign worker was riding by and figured “got a few extra signs in the truck I’ll throw them up around here”, but doubtful this was the case.

Actually in Middlesex County the Democrats are listed on the ballot as being in Column B with the Republicans in Column A, the opposite being the case in Union County with the Reps in B and the Dems occupying A.

This lack of attention to detail is extremely telling as I am told that neither Kennedy or Carter bother to put out a newsletter of any kind ( I live in the district and have never received anything) to inform residents about what is going on in the district or even the state. Rather we are told “Vote for us but do not expect to hear from us for another 2 years until we come around asking for your vote again.” It is no wonder that the people I spoke with in Middlesex County, Somerset County or Union County don’t now who their assembly representatives are.
