The Rahway Democratic Committee Unanimously Endorses Cory Booker for President

U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) is polling at 2% in today's Monmouth University Poll, which shows significant ground gained by Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren.

The Rahway Democratic Committee (RDC) unanimously endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Cory Booker, recognizing the New Jersey Senator as a steadfast defender of American values.

During an event to support the New Jersey Senator for president, Rahway Democratic Committee Chairman Kevin O’Brien, Vice Chair Lisa da Silva and RDC Parliamentarian (and New Jersey Assemblyman) James Kennedy presented Cory Booker with an endorsement resolution on behalf of the entire Rahway Democratic Committee.

Joining more than 50 other New Jersey Democrats to endorse New Jersey Senator Cory Booker for president, the Rahway Democratic Committee commends Senator Booker’s unwavering commitment to empowering all people to demand access to their unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

“Cory Booker has a proven record of commitment to the people of New Jersey,” said Rahway Democratic Committee Chairman Kevin O’Brien. “The Rahway Democratic Committee believes in the democratic values of liberty, equality and justice and with our unanimous endorsement, this committee acknowledges that at this time in our history we need Cory Booker as president.”

The Rahway Democratic Committee pursues the high civic values of democratic government. Cory Booker’s commitment to unifying our country and leading America into a new decade through Justice (building a nation of liberty and justice for all is by relentlessly pursuing it together), Opportunity (ensuring everyone has access to the American Dream) and American Leadership (recognizing that our country is strongest and safest when we lead with our values) will have a direct impact on the quality of life for Rahway residents.
