Council “hopeful” Zeeshan Siddiqi wants us to believe that if he is elected to Old Bridge Town Council, he would end what he considers council’s practice of dishonesty and crimes against humanity aimed at the unsuspecting residents of Old Bridge. Mr. Siddiqi verbally attacks a councilwoman for her belief that citizens have the right to vote at voting machines instead of by absentee ballots. He calls this grandstanding. He and Governor Murphy are the only ones grandstanding and making COVID political. He can spew nonsense like this because he has nothing of value to contribute to the conversation.

Siddiqi’s rant revolves around the Old Bridge Council’s recent Resolution that calls for Governor Murphy to allow the residents of New Jersey their Constitutional right to vote in person. Siddiqi claims that the council, by resolution would be condemning New Jersey residents to death by COVID-19. Sorry to disappoint you Siddiqi, but Governor Murphy and his comrade across the river already executed thousands of senior residents by turning nursing homes into death traps. Where is your outrage over that crime against humanity?

The Old Bridge Council and its eight members in attendance, including Democratic Councilman David Merwin, voted unanimously in favor of this resolution. The fact that in New Jersey, you can go to Motor Vehicle, Walmart, liquor stores, and other indoor establishments, but you are not allowed to vote in person is a major cause for alarm. What rational reason is there for this? There is no scientific data confirming you will acquire COVID-19 if you vote at a machine. Where are the geniuses in Trenton when you need them? Has no one thought to put up a tent outside at polling locations covering the machines, or on a high school football field and have the polls outdoors? How about drive-up voting? Reasonable people have reasonable solutions to a problem, unless of course you don’t really want a solution. There are so many residents who still believe they can vote in person. This election process is a complete mess. If you look closely at your ballot where your signature is required, you are signing and affirming that you requested a mail-in ballot. This is a lie for those who did not request it!

Murphy has created a “Ballot-gate” in New Jersey. Postal workers tossing out ballots, printers making errors and sending out ballots with wrong names. Every day it’s something more ridiculous than the day before. He has placed the good people of New Jersey in constitutional prison. We are told what, when, and where, and how much we are allowed to do. The only thing he hasn’t told us, is why.
