REACTING TO THE BOROUGH’S RACIAL HISTORY AND LACK OF DIVERSITY, CITIZENS COME TOGETHER TO FORM THE MEDFORD LAKES DIVERSITY COALITION

The Medford Lakes Diversity Coalition (MLDC) is a group of Medford Lakes residents committed to fostering racial, cultural and social harmony within Medford Lakes

We hope to address the racial and cultural history of Medford Lakes and their continuing effects on the community. Our intent is to increase representation and support of traditionally marginalized demographics

Additionally, we seek to actively mitigate the negative impact of that history and to present ideas to both the council and residents with the goal of helping Medford Lakes become a more diverse and inclusive borough

Inaugural meeting will take place Tuesday September 1, at 7pm at 191 Peshekee Trail, Medford Lakes
