SKILLMAN, NJ — Within 24 hours after launching her campaign for Congress in New Jersey’s 7th District, Democrat Rebecca Bennett has raised over $125,000 — a massive number that positions her as the clear frontrunner for the nomination to take on U.S. Representative Tom Kean, Jr. next year. Bennett’s fundraising haul includes 630 individual contributors with an average donation of just $185, showcasing her strong appeal to grassroots Democrats who are ready to support a new generation of leadership in Washington.
