RELEASE: Gottheimer Condemns Anti-Semitic, White Supremacist Airport Diner Graffiti
GLEN ROCK, N.J. — In response to reports of anti-Semitic, white supremacist graffiti left on the Airport Diner in Wantage Sunday night, Congressman Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) released the following statement condemning the acts:
“I was shocked and horrified to learn about the anti-Semitic, white supremacist graffiti left on the Airport Diner in Wantage. Hate and intolerance have no place in our community and country, a nation founded on the core value that all religious and ethnic backgrounds are welcomed.
“I have reached out to Wantage Mayor Jon Morris, Airport Diner owner Francisco Blanco, and local law enforcement to let them and all of Wantage know that they have my full support and that we are all with them. I am confident that our top-notch New Jersey state law enforcement officials will bring the cowards responsible to justice.”
