Rep. MacArthur Announces Grants for Burlington County’s Head Start Program

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Tom MacArthur announced that the Department of Health and Human Services has awarded Burlington County’s Community Action Program $2.8 million for their Head Start program.

 “This announcement from Department of Health and Human Services will have a significant impact on Burlington County’s Head Start program,” said Congressman MacArthur. “This preschool program for children from disadvantaged families is operated by local non-profit organizations and will now have additional funds to continue the meaningful work it does for the area.  It’s critical that we continue to support programs like Head Start that will better the lives of vulnerable children in our community.”
