WASHINGTON, DC—Today, Representative Donald Norcross (NJ-01) released a statement on President Donald Trump being sworn in as the 47th president.

“Today, as President Trump is sworn into his second term, we honor the peaceful transfer of power, which we once took for granted. It’s a cornerstone of our democracy because it symbolizes that the American people and the American people alone are the ones who vote for their elected leaders.

“I commit to working across the aisle in Congress and with the new Administration wherever possible to help lower costs, build an American-made economy, and keep our nation safe. Making life better for South Jersey families continues to be my top priority.
