Rep. Sherrill Announces Valentines for Veterans Program

Residents are invited to bring handmade Valentine’s Day cards for veterans to Rep. Sherrill’s Parsippany Office

Parsippany, NJ – Today, Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) announced the launch of the “Valentines for Veterans” program.

Residents are invited to drop off Valentine’s Day cards for military veterans at Representative Sherrill’s District Office in Parsippany, starting today through Monday, February 10, 2020. Cards submitted in envelopes should not be sealed closed unless mailed to the district office. The cards will be distributed to veterans throughout the 11th Congressional District.

“In the Navy, I landed on ships throughout the fleet to drop off mail. When you are deployed at sea, I know first-hand how meaningful it is to receive cards from friends and family back home,” said Representative Sherrill. “This Valentine’s Day, I’d like to invite everyone to write to our local heroes who have returned from their service. I know that these cards will brighten a veteran’s day.”

Representative Sherrill’s District Office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm at 8 Wood Hollow Road, Suite 203, Parsippany, NJ 07054.
