Rep. Sherrill Launches “2024 Heroes” Program

LIVINGSTON, NJ –– Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) is launching the fourth annual “2024 Heroes” recognition program. Residents of NJ-11 are encouraged to nominate everyday heroes in their lives — teachers, healthcare providers, first responders, family members, and volunteers. Twenty-five 2024 Heroes will be selected for recognition.

“Today, I am excited to launch our 2024 Heroes program! Each year, we take the opportunity to celebrate the New Jerseyans who have made a positive impact in our community whether it’s through healthcare, public service, education, and more. This holiday season, I encourage all to reflect on those in your life who have been a hero to you, in ways big and small, and nominate them so we as a community can show our appreciation for their hard work,” said Rep. Sherrill. 

New Jersey residents can nominate their hero by filling out the form linked here and below. Nominees must live or work in NJ-11 and cannot have been named a hero in years past. The deadline to nominate a 2024 Hero is Wednesday, December 11, 2024. The form to nominate a hero can be found here.
