Rep. Sherrill Statement on H.R. 6, The Dream and Promise Act

Parsippany, New Jersey – Representative Mikie Sherrill (NJ-11) released the following statement on H.R. 6, the Dream and Promise Act:

“I support the Dreamers and will vote in favor of H.R. 6 because it gives an earned pathway to citizenship for the 22,000 Dreamers in New Jersey, who have for years faced uncertainty because of congressional inaction. I will continue to push Congress to address comprehensive immigration reform and fix our broken immigration system and believe a vote on H.R. 6 is an important first step.”
