Union Highlights Lora’s Work Protecting Fair Paying Jobs

PASSAIC, NJ – Today, President Charles Hall, Local 108 of the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU, UFCW), whose membership is part of 10,000 men and women RWDSU, UFCW represents in New Jersey, announced the union’s endorsement of Hector Lora for Passaic Mayor.

“In this time of uncertainty Passaic needs a mayor who can bring our community together – Hector Lora is that mayor,” said Charles Hall, President, Local 108 of the Retail, Wholesale & Department Store Union (RWDSU, UFCW). “In his short time, as acting mayor Hector has shown our members that he will be a tenacious advocate for fair paying jobs, a strong voice for workers, and will work to develop a community that builds prosperity for all.”

Local 108 members of the RWDSU, UFCW will begin canvasing, phone banking and commence member to member outreach today.
