LD11 DEMOCRATIC TICKET
Vin Gopal, candidate for State Senate, Assemblywoman Joann Downey, and Assemblyman Eric Houghtaling
(LONG BRANCH, NJ) – Today, Local 262 of the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU) announced its support of the Democratic senate and assembly candidates in New Jersey’s 11th legislative district. The ticket includes Vin Gopal who is challenging Senator Jen Beck for State Senate, and Assembly members Eric Houghtaling and Joann Downey who are both seeking reelection.
“Our members and their families need allies in Trenton and I know that, Vin, Eric, and Joann will be a team that will deliver for workers, because they always have,” said Tom Walsh, President of RWDSU Local 262. “These candidates are committed to fighting for issues that matter most to our working families and I know they will be tenacious in their resolve to improve our communities. I am proud to announce our support of the LD11 Democratic ticket today.”
