Rev. Robert Rogers Endorses Dawkins for State Senate
MORRISTOWN, NJ — Reverend Robert Rogers, the Senior Pastor of Church of God in Christ For All Saints (COGIC) in Morristown, has endorsed Cliff Dawkins for State Senate. Rev. Rogers has served as the Senior Pastor of COGIC since 1995. He also leads Controlling our Destiny (COD), which is a group of organizations that works to provide services to Black and Latinx communities in the Morristown area.
“Cliff Dawkins is an outstanding young man possessing the political and social intelligence, dedication and compassion, and hard work and determination needed to represent the diversity of constituents in the State Senate for Legislative District 25. He will be attuned and sensitive to the needs of all the people and represent this district with excellence,” stated Rev. Rogers.
“Reverend Rogers is a community organizer and spiritual leader who has spent decades serving our area,” Dawkins said. “I have learned a great deal from his leadership style and ability to bring people together. I am proud to call him a mentor and to have his support.”
Cliff Dawkins is a Democratic Candidate for State Senate in the LD25 Special Election. Dawkins is an attorney specializing in Labor and Employment law. He also serves on several professional organization and nonprofit boards, including the Urban League of Morris County, the Garden State Bar Association-Young Lawyers Division, the National Bar Association-Young Lawyers Division, and the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Civil Practice.
Cliff Dawkins resides in Rockaway Borough with his wife and their two children.
