OUR REVOLUTION TO HOLD GET OUT THE VOTE VIRTUAL RALLY

GRASSROOTS POWERHOUSE TO BE JOINED BY ANALILIA MEJIA, FORMER NATL. POLITICAL DIRECTOR, BERNIE SANDERS 2020, REP. BONNIE WATSON COLEMAN (NJ-12), AMI KACHALIA, ACLU NJ CAMPAIGN STRATEGIST AND MORE

WASHINGTON — Our Revolution, the grassroots organization founded by Senator Bernie Sanders, will hold a virtual Get Out The Vote Rally on October 17 at 10 AM ET. Supporters from across New Jersey will join Analilia Mejía, Former National Political Director for Sen. Sanders’ 2020, US Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (NJ-12), Ami Kachalia, Campaign Strategist for ACLU – New Jersey and Axel Owen, Campaign Manager for NJ CAN..

During the call Our Revolution will be announcing endorsements for Congress, state and local elections.

As part of a nationwide effort made up of a network of over 30 Our Revolution state groups and hundreds of local groups, Our Revolution New Jersey’s four-point plan includes  defeating Trump, electing progressive champions to Congress, building a bench of down-ballot elected officials and policies, and strengthening the progressive movement by campaigning  on our issues.

“We believe that change starts at the local level, that is why we are proud to be endorsing candidates to energize and mobilize voters throughout New Jersey,” said Joseph Geevarghese, Executive Director of Our Revolution.  “Progressive voters are tired of politics as usual and want to see radical change in the White House, the State House and the halls of local government.  This rally is the just the beginning of our GOTV strategy to mobilize more voters and increase turnout for elections up and down the ballot to affect lasting positive change.”

Our Revolution previously endorsed Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, US House, NJ-12 as well as a YES vote for New Jersey Public Question 1, the Marijuana Legalization Amendment
