ANNUAL PRIORITIES AGENDA & CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE

 

 

TRENTON – Senator Ronald L. Rice (D-Essex), Chair of the New Jersey Legislative Black Caucus, will be joined by all Caucus members at a press conference announcing highlights of the body’s Annual Legislative and Budget Priority Agenda Message.

 

The NJ Legislative Black Caucus’s 2018 Priority Agenda includes legislation initiatives and concerns in the areas of Public School Education, Higher Education, Public Safety, Affordable Housing, Employment and Economic Justice, Civil Service Reform and the 2020 Census.

Following the press conference, Senator Rice will hand-deliver the New Jersey Legislative Black Caucus’ Legislative and Budget Priority Agenda for 2018-2019 along with the Caucus Chairman’s Annual Priorities Agenda Message to Senate President Stephen M. Sweeney, General Assembly Speaker Craig J. Coughlin and Governor Phil Murphy.
