Roselle Councilman Atkins files complaints against Dansereau

Bishop Reginald W. Atkins won the chairmanship of the Roselle NJ Democratic Committee after defeating opponent Denise Wilkerson.

The Roselle Borough Councilman is accusing the mayor of harassing him and attempting to intimidate him by using public resources for the past 3 year.

“I have today filed several complaints against Mayor Christine Dansereau for her repeated harassment of me and my business over an extend period of time. Mayor Dansereau has misused Borough resources by ordering Borough personnel to conduct investigations of my business based on her unfounded claims, and each time, these claims were proven to be baseless. These political shenanigans are nothing more than deliberate efforts to intimidate me and cause my family and I financial and emotional distress. Using taxpayer dollars to fund a campaign of political retaliation violates the law and violates my rights as a citizen; as such, I have no choice but to seek judicial intervention, Atkins said.

The criminal charges are Harassment, Crime of Corruption of Public Resources, Retaliation for Past Official Action, False reports to Law Enforcement Authorizes and Crime of official deprivation of Civil rights.
