Rosemary Becchi Wins E-PAC’s “Rising Star” GOP Women Endorsement
Morristown, NJ – Rosemary Becchi, the Republican candidate for New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District, was given the “Rising Star” endorsement of E-PAC, which is dedicated to electing more Republican women to Congress in 2020 and beyond.
“I’m excited and honored to be counted among a strong group of Republican women who are prepared to end Nancy Pelosi’s divisive, partisan agenda in the House, and focus instead on policies that meet the health care, education and affordability concerns of New Jersey families” said Rosemary.
E-PAC is Congresswoman Elise Stefanik’s (NY-21) Leadership PAC. Rosemary was endorsed along with seven other GOP women vying for House seats in the 2020 election. They are being added to a group of 11 women candidates endorsed by the PAC last fall.
“I’m proud to announce my second slate of endorsed ‘Rising Star’ women candidates for Congress in 2020,” said Congresswoman Elise Stefanik. “We have a historic number of Republican women running, and the 2020 field continues to grow with impressive candidates building strong campaigns and grassroots movements in their communities. It’s been an honor to work with each of these candidates and I’m looking forward to watching their support continue to grow as we head into the busy campaigning season.”
E-PAC’s mission is to increase the number of Republican women serving in Congress by supporting top Republican female candidates in primaries. As the first woman to serve as the Recruitment Chair for the National Republican Congressional Committee, Congresswoman Stefanik successfully recruited more than 100 women – a record number – to run for Congress in 2017.
Her organization is committed to working to recruit, develop, support, and mentor a slate of top tier women Republican candidates who have demonstrated electability and potential for candidate development and growth.
