RSLC Launches Six-Figure Paid Media Push in Key New Jersey Legislative Races

Committee’s Investment in New Jersey Now Nearly $700,000 in 2021

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) today announced a new six-figure paid media campaign in key legislative races ahead of New Jersey’s November elections. The new ads will highlight the stark contrast between radical Democrats who will keep New Jersey the most taxed state in the nation by following the failed playbook of the extreme liberals in Washington, and the common-sense conservatives running against them to put families first once again. The committee’s total investment in the Garden State in 2021, inclusive of this new advertising blitz, is now nearly $700,000.

“New Jerseyans are tired of seeing extreme liberal politicians go to Trenton election after election to hike their taxes, kill their jobs, and make their families less safe — all to try to appease their national party bosses,” said RSLC Deputy Director Edith Jorge-Tuñón. “The hardworking people of New Jersey know they deserve better, and will vote this November to reject the failed policies of the Democrat-controlled Trenton and instead choose commonsense-conservative leadership being offered by the strong Republican candidates in these key districts.”

The RSLC’s new campaign will target the Assembly seats in LD-2, Assembly seats in LD-11, and the Senate seat in LD-8. It comes as internal statewide polling in New Jersey shows President Biden five points underwater, that the majority of New Jerseyans believe the state is on the wrong track, and that 70 percent of New Jerseyeans have thought about moving outside of the state for a lower tax burden.

Examples of some of the campaign’s creative can be found below.
