Rupande Mehta Awarded Gun Sense Candidate Distinction from Moms Demand Action

Denville, NJ – Rupande Mehta, candidate for LD25 State Senate, has been awarded the Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate distinction in recognition of her commitment to govern with gun safety in mind and advocating for gun violence prevention.

“I am honored to receive this distinction,” said Rupande Mehta. “Common sense gun safety is important to me. As a domestic violence advocate, I have seen the role guns play in lethal domestic abuse situations. If elected, I look forward to working with the NJ Legislature on passing meaningful gun sense legislation to keep families in the district safe and our children safe in their schools.”
