Ryan Collins becomes new owner of Brightway Insurance Agency in Chatham, N.J.

(MARCH 9, 2020) — Brightway Insurance Enterprise Owner, Ryan Collins, is the new owner of the Brightway Insurance Agency located at 641 Shunpike Road, Unit 32 in Chatham (next to Supercuts and The UPS Store at the intersection of Shunpike Road and Southern Boulevard). The agency that has rebranded as Brightway, The Ryan Collins Agency is Collins’ second Brightway location and his first office in the Garden State.

“We’ve enjoyed getting to know our customers in Florida and helping them find the best coverage for their needs and are committed to delivering that same level loyalty and expert counsel to the Chatham community and surrounding areas in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania,” said Collins, who opened his first Brightway agency in Sunrise, Florida, in 2018. “We offer more choice of insurance brands than other Agents, so we can shop the marketing for you to find the best coverage for your home, vehicles and much more.”

In January, Brightway named Collins New Agency Owner of the Year and its top Mover and Shaker for production in 2019. The New Agency Owner of the Year award goes to the highest-producing Agency Owner (based on new property/casualty policies written) whose agency has a full year’s results on the books, and the Mover and Shaker award goes to the Agency Owner whose agency moved up the most number of spots in new property/casualty policies written rank in the calendar year. Collins jumped from No. 146 at the end of 2018 to No. 20 at the end of 2019.

Joining Collins at the agency to run the daily operations is Tina Richardson, who brings 26 years of industry experience to Brightway. Richardson comes to Brightway from Weichert Insurance Agency, where she worked for the past 14 years as an Insurance Advisor. A graduate of Morris Knolls High School in nearby Rockaway, Richardson is involved in her community through church and other activities and looks forward to helping her friends and neighbors protect what they have worked so hard to earn.
