Salvation And Social Justice: Faith Leaders rally an increase to Minimum Wage For All New Jersey workers!

Faith Leaders rally an increase to Minimum Wage For All New Jersey workers!

In this high cost state, wages for workers have fallen behind.  Income inequality is at an all time high, 35% of all New Jersey workers struggle to make ends meet each month.  Increasing minimum wage to $15.00 an hour is a start in reducing this disparity.

However, our NJ lawmakers are considering carving out some workers from this much-needed increase.  Farm workers, Tip wageworkers, and youth workers may be carved out of this increase. The faith community stands along side these workers to rally for fairness for all workers in New Jersey.

Faith leaders, musicians, and all those concerned about wages in NJ are joining together to insist that no one be left behind!

WHERE:  The event will be held at Bethel AME Church, 32 Courtland St., Woodbury, NJ
