BLOOMFIELD — Today, U.S. Representative Sarah McBride endorsed Mikie Sherrill for governor, citing her relentless focus on the economic challenges facing New Jersey families. Mikie was a supporter of McBride’s race for Congress and hosted her in New Jersey for an event last year.

McBride is the U.S. Representative for Delaware’s At-Large Congressional District. This year, she made history as the first openly transgender individual to serve in the United States Congress. Previously, she served in the Delaware State Senate where she passed landmark paid family and medical leave and expanded access to mental health care in schools.
