SCDC Black Caucus 2020 Black History Month Celebration

Somerset, NJ — The Somerset County Democratic Committee Black Caucus (SCDCBC) proudly presents its 2020 Black History Month Celebration on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 2pm to 5pm at the Franklin Township Senior Citizen Center located at 505 DeMott Lane, Somerset, New Jersey.

This year the Black Caucus proudly celebrates Shanel Robinson, the first Black Woman to serve as Freeholder and Freeholder Director in Somerset County, and Mildred Scott, the first Black Sheriff in the state of New Jersey.

The celebration will also feature Guest Speaker Mohamed S. Jalloh, Esq.,  a Black History Presentation, and several vendors followed by some entertainment.  Admission is Free.
