Schaer on Passaic City Fire

(TRENTON) – Assemblyman Gary Schaer (D-Bergen, Passaic) issued the following statement regarding the Passaic City Fire:

“”The City of Passaic is indebted to the 200 firefighters who responded from across Essex, Bergen and Passaic County to battle to the Majestic Industries’ fire through the night. They have saved countless lives, and we will never forget the kindness of our neighbors during our time of need.

Mayor Lora and Fire Chief Trentacost continue to demonstrate tremendous leadership; they have coordinated essential services and evacuated residents to ensure the safety of local families.

The people of Passaic are resilient, and we will recover from this disaster.””
