Brownstein, a Partner at the firm, and Clyne, Of Counsel, will focus their practices on Estate, Gift and Charitable Planning and Tax Planning. Brownstein has experience in commercial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and financings. Clyne has experience in estate and tax mitigation planning, counseling on compensation planning and representing estates, trusts and beneficiaries.

ABOUT DANIEL M. BROWNSTEIN:

Daniel M. Brownstein, a Partner at Schenck, Price, Smith & King in the firm’s Estate, Gift & Charitable Planning and Tax Planning Practice Groups, has experience in estate planning and administration, and commercial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and financings.

Additionally, Brownstein is a Certified Public Accountant, who previously worked for KPMG, Princeton University and was a Controller for a financial services company. Daniel began his legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Susan Devlin Scott in Pennsylvania.

He earned his J.D. at Temple University and his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting at West Chester University. Brownstein is a member of the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants.

ABOUT JOHN M. CLYNE JR:

John M. Clyne, Jr. brings years of experience to Schenck Price’s Estate, Gift & Charitable Planning Practice Group as well as the Tax Planning Practice Group. Clyne’s legal experience includes advising clients in estate and tax mitigation planning, counseling on compensation planning, and representing estates, trusts and beneficiaries.

Additionally, Clyne is a Certified Public Accountant and was a former adjunct Professor of Taxation at Seton Hall University’s M.S. in Tax Program. He has been AV-rated, the highest rating conferred by Martindale-Hubbell for legal ability and professional ethics.

Clyne is a frequent lecturer at the New Jersey State Society of Public Accountants and other forums, has been quoted in the Wall St. Journal and is a frequent radio show guest. He received a J.D. from Rutgers University, an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University and a B.S. in Accounting from Seton Hall University.
