Scott Salmon for Congress Releases First Ad of Campaign

SCOTCH PLAINS, NEW JERSEY — Scott Salmon, Democrat for Congress in New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District, has released his first ad, entitled “The American Dream.”

The ad highlights the story of Scott’s grandfather, Egon Salmon, who inspired Scott to run for office. Egon Salmon is a survivor of the M.S. St. Louis, the “Voyage of the Damned,” which was one of the last refugee ships allowed out of Germany before the start to World War II.

“My family has lived the American Dream,” Scott Salmon said. “It’s a dream that, for far too many people, is now out of reach. That’s what my campaign is about, and this ad is intended to show voters why I will never stop fighting for them.”
