Scutari Welcomes Thompson to Senate Democratic Majority

In a politically charged event, heavy on testimonies sticking it to Governor Phil Murphy on the millionaire’s tax while heaping praise on legislative leadership, the senate today affirmed $38,748,610,000 in state funds for the NJ state budget for fiscal year 2019-2020.

Scutari Welcomes Thompson to Senate Democratic Majority  

 

Trenton – Senate President Nick Scutari issued the following statement officially welcoming Senator Sam Thompson to the New Jersey Senate Democratic Caucus:

 

“After a multitude of extended meetings with Senator Sam Thompson, as well as members of the Senate Democratic Caucus, we want to extend a warm welcome to Senator Thompson as he joins our Majority Caucus. He will bring extensive experience to our caucus as we continue to welcome those with differing perspectives to the big tent that is the Democratic Party.
