Senate Budget Hearings: Higher Ed, Health, Law & Public Safety

 

Trenton – The Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee will hold departmental budget hearings tomorrow on Governor Phil Murphy’s spending proposal for Fiscal Year 2023 with presentations on Higher Education Services, and by the Department of Health and the Department of Law & Public Safety, said Senator Paul Sarlo, the committee’s chairman.

 

The in-person sessions will be held Tuesday, May 3rd, Committee Room 4, State House Annex, Trenton, and will be available online via the OLS homepage: https://www.njleg.state.nj.us/

 

·    10:30 a.m. – The Office of the Secretary of Higher Education: With Secretary Brian Bridges, Ph.D., and other officials to discuss higher education issues.

 

·    1:00 p.m. – The Department of Health: With Commissioner Judith M. Persichilli, and other top officials.

 

·    3:00 p.m. – The Department of Law & Public Safety: With Acting Attorney General Matthew Platkin and other top officials.
