Senate Higher Education Committee to Hold Hearing on the Challenges Facing Colleges & Universities
Trenton – The Senate Higher Education Committee will hear testimony from representatives of institutions of higher education on the challenges their institutions face as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, including financial challenges experienced by institutions and their students. They will also provide testimony on the programs and initiatives being implemented to meet these challenges.
The hearing will be held virtually tomorrow, Tuesday, May 19, at 10:00 AM. Members of the media can watch here.
“Our colleges and universities have faced many challenges over the past couple of months and more will arise in the months ahead,” said Senator Cunningham, chair of the Senate Higher Education Committee. “Tomorrow’s hearing will allow us to get a clearer picture of what our institutions of higher education dealing with, as well as how faculty and students have been impacted by the pandemic. ”
