Senate President Steve Sweeney, Senator Vin Gopal to Tour Park Avenue Elementary School in Freehold

TRENTON – Senate President Steve Sweeney and Senator Vin Gopal will meet with school district administrators and teachers while touring Park Avenue Elementary in Freehold on September 4, the first day back for teachers.  Freehold Borough Schools saw a nearly 30 percent increase in state aid – $3,162,755 – from last year as result of Senator Sweeney’s commitment to increase state school aid in this year’s budget by $347 million.
