Senator Corrado, Assemblymen Rooney and DePhillips Endorse Melissa Florance-Lynch

Senator Kristin Corrado, Assemblyman Kevin Rooney and
Assemblyman Christopher DePhillips have endorsed Melissa
Florance-Lynch, for the open Morris County Freeholder seat
vacated by Freeholder Heather Darling.

As the legislative representatives for the 40th District,
which includes Melissa’s home town of Pequannock, Corrado,
DePhillips and Rooney have had the opportunity to work with
Melissa the last several years.

Senator Corrado, speaking for all three legislators, stated
“Melissa is an excellent public servant with a record of
responsible financial leadership in Pequannock. She will be an
excellent addition to the Morris County Freeholder Board”.

Melissa Florance-Lynch has been on the Pequannock Council
for ten years and is serving her third term. Melissa served as
Deputy Mayor in 2011, 2012 and 2013. She served as Mayor in 2014
and 2017. She has been instrumental in creating and passing
budgets that resulted in average tax increases of less than one
percent per year. While doing this, she has also fought to
maintain programs and services in Pequannock.
