Senator Loretta Weinberg Calls on U.S. Senate Candidate Bob Hugin to Take a Position on Trump SCOTUS Pick

“New Jerseyans deserve to know where Bob Hugin stands on Brett Kavanaugh.  If he was in the Senate, how would he vote?

Does he stand for New Jersey values or does he stand for Donald Trump?  Does he stand for the rights of women, the LGBTQ community, voters and workers?  Does he stand in support of a woman’s right to choose?  Does he stand for protecting our environment, our air, and water, from polluters?  Does he stand for sensible gun safety reform?

These are New Jersey values, and they are all threatened if the balance of power shifts on the Supreme Court.   Brett Kavanaugh is  an extreme conservative who will tilt the balance of our nation’s highest court to the hard right and impact American lives for generations.  The stakes are too high for Bob Hugin to stay quiet.  His silence is deafening.”
