SHEENA COLLUM LAUNCHES WEBSITE, ANNOUNCES 15 UPCOMING EVENTS

South Orange, NJ (April 2, 2019) – The Sheena Collum for Village President Campaign Team unveiled a new website today at www.SheenaCollum.com, where residents can read about Sheena’s accomplishments, review her platform, and get involved with the campaign. The site also features numerous upcoming events where community members can meet Sheena in person, learn about her vision, and ask questions.

“The great thing about Sheena and why she has so much local support is people know she works incredibly hard and has delivered on what she said she would do four years ago,” said Celina Herrero, Campaign Manager. “The way she is putting out substantive and specific information is exactly what we’ve come to expect from Sheena every day as our Village President.”

The campaign tapped 7 Layer Studio, a local and woman-owned, graphic design and branding studio led by Rachel Zorel who is no stranger to working on a variety of brand identities in town.

“Sheena came to us to create a visual identity and website that reflects her commitment to the South Orange community along with her energetic personality. She’s informal and deeply relatable and it was important that her campaign branding reflect that. We set out to show voters the depth and breadth of her work and collaborative leadership style. She’s not trying to reinvent herself.” said Zorel.

In the upcoming week, Sheena will be at events hosted by residents in West Montrose, Tuxedo Park, Newstead and Upper Wyoming.  Community members interested in attending can contact the campaign at events@sheenacollum.com where they will be assisted by Co-Event Coordinators and Columbia High School students Lily Forman and Zoe Newman.

“We’re six weeks away from the election and we hope that the turnout will break records on May 14th,” said Collum. “Along with the events, we’re going door-to-door, making phone calls, and the community will see us in a variety of locations around town. We have a lot to be proud of in terms of the number of people who are running for office and now is the time to start paying attention and making a plan to get to the polls on Election Day”.
