Sheriff Anthony Cureton Promotes Warden & Other Ranks

 

Hackensack, N.J. – Bergen County Sheriff Anthony Cureton held a promotional ceremony and elevated three Sheriff’s Officers to Sergeant, one Sheriff’s Officer Sergeant to Lieutenant, one Corrections Captain to Warden, one Corrections Lieutenant to Captain and one Corrections Sergeant to Lieutenant. A special recognition award was given to Chief Counsel Dan Zwillenberg for Outstanding Service.

 

The ceremony which took place on the steps of the Superior Courthouse in Hackensack, NJ and attended by family, friends, and law enforcement friends.

 

Sheriff’s Promotions:

Three Sheriff’s Officers received promotions to Sergeant – S.O. Christian Zambrano, K-9 S.O. Robert Mantone, and S.O. Jason Rodriguez.

One Sheriff’s Officer Sergeant received promotions to Lieutenant – Sgt. Shaun Mathew.

 

Corrections Promotions:

One Corrections Captain received promotions to Warden – Capt. Michael Russo.

One Corrections Lieutenant received promotions to Captain – Lt. Ralph Turre.

One Corrections Sergeant received promotion to Lieutenant – Sgt. Efrain Rivera.

 

“We give well wishes to those who have served BCSO well and have retired.  I am proud to continue the exceptional leadership at Bergen County Sheriff’s Office with the promotion of our new Warden at the Bergen County Jail as well as promotions of one Lieutenant, and five Sergeants. These promotions showcase the future leaders of this great agency and their commitment to serving Bergen County with honor,” Sheriff Anthony Cureton said.
