Somerset County Democratic Chair Peg Schaffer’s Statement On Jerry Green

Bernardsville, NJ – Somerset County Democratic Chair Peg Schaffer thanks Assemblyman Jerry Green for his long service to the Democratic Party and support of Somerset County as he steps down from his role as Union County Democratic Committee Chair.

“Jerry is a true friend and ally, and while I am saddened he is leaving his role as Chairman I am excited he will continue representing Somerset County residents in the Assembly. Jerry and I have worked hard together to build our respective county parties, and I truly believe his support and advice was a significant factor in the historic Somerset County Democratic electoral successes in 2017,” said Schaffer.
