Somerset County Transportation Temporarily Changes Location of Somerville Stop

 Due to Construction at the Somerville Train Station

 

SOMERVILLE NJ – Due to a major construction project being performed at the Somerville Train Station, Somerset County Transportation announced that its public transit SCOOT and CAT shuttles will no longer be able to enter that location. Effective Oct. 7, passenger pickups are temporarily being moved to Veterans Memorial Drive, near the taxi stand and South Bridge street.

Passengers and service operators are required to wear facial coverings. Vehicles will be disinfected after every shift and additional cleaning procedures will be performed to ensure that all vehicles are sterile.

Residents who are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19 are not permitted to use the county’s transportation services and should immediately contact a healthcare professional. Symptoms include difficulty breathing, fever or coughing.
