THE BEGINNING OF THE PROCESS:

Today, the South Jersey Black Political Caucus sent our Candidate Questionnaire to all candidates running for a Congressional seat in Districts 1,2, 3 and 12, and to all candidates running for the United States Senate.

This first step will allow us to gather information from each candidate regarding their positions on issues important to those whose vote they are seeking and looking to represent.

The candidates have until April 1st, to return their completed questionnaire. We look forward to their responses, and we will continue to provide the community with pertinent facts needed to make informed choices regarding individuals seeking to represent us.

Mission: The South Jersey Political Black Caucus advocates for representatives and public policies promoting fairness and inclusion across all levels of government, from local municipalities to the national stage. Understanding the importance of knowledgeable leadership, we seek to educate current and aspiring public officials about the unique challenges facing our communities and support the selection, nomination, appointment and election of individuals who share our vision of a more just and equitable society.
