Speaker Coughlin Statement on NJ Legislative Apportionment Commission Adopting Final Map

(TRENTON) – Responding to the New Jersey Legislative Apportionment Commission adopting its final map Friday, Assembly Speaker Craig J. Coughlin (D-Middlesex) issued the following statement:

          “The map adopted today preserves every Democratic district and allows opportunities to expand our majority. It also allows for much-needed increase in representation for people of color. I look forward to working to earn Democratic majorities in both Houses of the Legislature under these new districts.”
