Speaker Coughlin Statement on ANCHOR Property Tax Relief

(Trenton) — Assembly Speaker Craig J. Coughlin released the following statement regarding the State Treasury Department’s announcement this week on ANCHOR property tax benefits for the current year:

“From day one, we have said it was our goal to provide significant property tax relief immediately. With the rebate earlier this year and the expanded benefit for seniors, we’re proud to say our efforts will lead to families receiving up to $3,250 in total property tax relief this year. This is great news for New Jersey taxpayers, and we will continue our efforts to provide property tax relief.”
