Speaker Coughlin Statement on Tomorrow’s Planned Rally in Princeton

(TRENTON) – Assembly Speaker Crag Coughlin (D-Middlesex) issued the following statement Friday on Saturday’s planned New Jersey European Heritage Association march:

“Tomorrow, the white supremacist group, the New Jersey European Heritage Association, is expected to hold a march in the town of Princeton.

“Let me be clear — there is no place for bigotry and hate in New Jersey. New Jersey is known for the beauty of its diversity and all races and ethnicities are welcome in our state.

“I do not condone this proposed, disturbing march and thank the police officers who are taking the necessary precautions to ensure the Princeton community is safe.”
