Speight Statement on Appointment of Laurie Doran as Director of the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness

            (TRENTON) – Assemblywoman Shanique Speight (D-Essex), chair of the Assembly Homeland Security and State Preparedness Committee, issued the following statement on the appointment of Laurie Doran as the Director of the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness:

            “I applaud Governor Murphy for appointing Laurie Doran to lead the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness. Laurie’s wealth of knowledge and experience in counterterrorism and counterintelligence will be instrumental in strengthening New Jersey’s resiliency measures and ensuring our residents’ safety.
