DEMOCRATIC SHERIFF CANDIDATE ADAMO URGED POLICE TO VOTE REPUBLICAN
Speziale Team Says Adamo Is “Wrong Kind Of Cop To Be Sheriff,” Launches Major Multi Media Campaign to Warn Passaic County Democrats
PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — Already reeling from being personally named in a sexual harassment lawsuit and for his longtime affiliation with the Republican Party and support of Donald Trump, Passaic County Sheriff Candidate Thomas Adamo is now being exposed again — this time for urging his fellow police officers to vote Republican.
A look at Adamo’s Facebook account shows him “liking” a comment that urges police officers to vote Republican. The comment that Adamo liked said: “I just hope the men in blue vote RED!” A screenshot of the comment is below:
Adamo urging police officers to vote Republican is just another obvious example that he is not aligned with the values of the Democratic party. Speziale’s campaign believes many more pro-Trump statements were removed from Adamo’s social media to cover up his MAGA views. But they missed a big one.
“Adamo is a lifelong, active Republican and a Trump supporter from a prominent Republican family who just switched parties to run for Sheriff,” said Sofia Quintanar, speaking for former Sheriff Jerry Speziale who is running for Sheriff in the June 4 Democratic Primary. “Adamo is being sued for sexual harassment and the text messages leave no room for doubt that his frat boy buddies in the Sheriff’s Office demoted a female officer to protect MAGAdamo’s doomed campaign.”
Team Speziale Democrats are launching a multimedia blitz in the closing days of the election, with direct mail, cable and digital advertising and NYC radio commercials to warn voters about Adamo’s anti-Democratic views before Tuesday’s Democratic Primary. Speziale is running with County Commission Candidates Sean Duffy, Derya Taskin and Pedro Lizano.
“For Democrats, Adamo and his team are wolves in sheep’s clothing — Adamo is simply the wrong kind of cop to be Sheriff,” Quintanar added.
