Stafford Conservative Republican Club Endorses David Richter for Congress

Manahawkin, NJ – February 25, 2020 – The members of the Stafford Conservative Republican Club voted last night to endorse David Richter for Congress in New Jersey’s Third Congressional District.

“I would like to thank all of my friends in Stafford for their support and for recognizing that I am the best Republican candidate to defeat radical liberal Andy Kim in November.  We now have the momentum heading into the Ocean County Council vote next week and I am confident that my campaign’s growing grass-roots support will carry us to victory,” said Richter.

The Stafford Conservative Republican Club is the officially recognized Republican Club in Stafford Township.  As all clubs do, the SCRC carries a weighted vote at the Ocean County Republican nominating convention.  Each Republican Club President casts one base vote and one additional vote for every five voting districts in their town.  Earning the support of these clubs is crucial to winning the county line at the convention.

Richter is the former CEO of global construction management firm Hill International.  During his time at the company, Hill grew from a struggling family business with less than 300 employees into a successful public company with more than 4,300 employees.  A lifelong Republican, Richter grew up in and has spent most of his life living and working in the Third District.  He earned two bachelor’s degrees and a law degree from Penn as well as master’s degrees from Oxford and Harvard.  Richter and his wife Michelle, who have been married for 20 years, are the parents of four daughters.
