Stark & Stark Shareholder James L. Creegan was sworn in as the 81st President of the Mercer County Bar Association (MCBA) at its annual Installation Dinner on Jan. 23 at the Trenton Country Club in West Trenton. In addition, Stark & Stark Shareholder Bryan M. Roberts was installed as a trustee.

Creegan, an attorney certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey whose focus areas include workers’ compensation and construction injury, has been recognized for his hard work and dedication to the legal profession, its practitioners and the Mercer County community.

“Stark & Stark has a long tradition of leadership at the MCBA and James will follow in the footsteps of past Presidents Sidney Stark, Amel Stark, John Sakson, Bruce Stern and Denise Mariani,” said Stark & Stark Managing Shareholder Michael G. Donahue. “We will support James in all of his efforts and wish him the best as he embarks upon this year’s journey leading Mercer County attorneys.”

Creegan has served as a member of the MCBA Board of Trustees, and later an officer, since 2009. In addition, he has also served as chair of the Workers’ Compensation Committee and the Young Lawyers Committee.

“I am honored to hold this prestigious position to serve the members of the Mercer County Bar Association and to aid and instruct the public in all matters pertaining to the law,” he said. “Our main focus this year will be on diversity & inclusion and community service outreach.”

Roberts, who was also installed at this year’s MCBA Installation Dinner, will serve three years on the Board of Trustees. He joins fellow Stark & Stark Shareholders Robert F. Morris and Jennifer Weisberg Millner, who were both elected as trustees last year.

Roberts is an expert civil trial attorney certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey and a member of Stark & Stark’s Accident & Personal Injury practice, specializing in representing victims of trucking and tractor trailer accidents.
